Sound, Lighting and Video.
The venue chosen was twenty five's specialist drive-in white studio capable of housing cars of lorries. The room gives a real loss of perspective- the walls and floor taper into one and other, and all being white, it can be hard to work out where the floor ends and the wall starts. This brilliant mind boggling room threw up other issues, a bit harder to deal with.
As soon as one light was lit in the space, it's output ricochet around the space. This mean that a high brightness projector and controlled lighting design were the order of the day. Andy Bartlett undertook the latter, with Production:av providing the projection, playback and control system, playing specially commissioned video. The lighting rig consisted of PAR lanterns and Martin Mac500's flown from a T shaped truss in the roof of the studio, controlled via an Avolites Pearl. CSS also provided draping and supporting truss work for the entrance to the white studio to hide the less celubrious areas of the studio.
