Services

Established in 1981, CSS has been working hard in all aspects of technical event production for approaching 30 years.

Today, with a 6,000 square foot warehouse and office in Cheltenham, CSS works closely with sister Company E&MS to deliver excellence in high end solutions for Sound, Lighting and all aspects of technical project management for live presentations of any type.

CSS itself specialises in the hardware, technical crews and delivery and carries sound equipment from Meyersound, d&b audio, electrovoice, A&H amongst many others. Lighting equipment is sourced from various suppliers, including Robe, Martin Professional, Avolights, jands and ETC. We carry extensive truss systems from Thomas and Tomcat, with Loadstar Motors.

CSS has three main trading areas:

Touring and show Production

Specialising in High end concert sound and lighting, with regular clients in the entertainment industry from one night shows through concert touring to festivals and public events.

Corporate Services

We specialise in conference, corporate and presentations services. Clients range widely across the corporate sector and include both end users and conference and event teams for who we provide a badged technical resource and service. For larger projects, we will often team up with our sister company E&MS who provide a dedicated project management service for conference and events work.

Sales, Installations and Training

Over the years we have been trading, the CSS team has on many occasions been asked to consult on and deliver installation projects for clients, ranging from schools, theatres, colleges and churches, to venues such as Cheltenham Town Hall and The Centaur, were we have undertaken major installations of high specification sound, major rigging, lighting, staging and Audio Visual Systems, as well as the supporting infrastructure and cable work associated. We have a dedicated and experienced team to oversee this work and all our work is carried out to the highest of standards.

Beside our installations and sales, we have also developed a training curriculum comprising modular courses and sessions on many different aspects of PA, Lighting, AV and stagecraft which can be designed in a bespoke way to a client’s needs and on their premises, or clients can sign up to regular sessions that we deliver on our own premises with elements from the most basic entry level to more sophisticated modules on some of the more advanced aspects of sound and lighting.
